About
I actually started my career in a small carpentry and joinery workshop on the outskirts of Essex back in 1996.
Back then we were called Quendon Joinery. We made bespoke kitchen and furniture.
I've been a Carpenter/Joiner for more than 30 years, I have experience in all aspects of the trade from green oak barn conversions to historical conservation work, cabinet making, loft conversions and wood turning.
In 2010 I went on to become a construction manager for a leading social housing building company, but sitting in an office every day looking at a screen wasn't for me and so I decided to go back to my toolbag and find the enjoyment and creativity that large projects failed to deliver.
Now I'm teaching my son the trade so that he will hopefully continue the tradition.

Back in the early 1990's we made the newspapers as our small workshop won a contract to work for the King of Bahrain. We worked in the Middle East for over a year working on a Beach House, constructing oak staircases, bathrooms, bedrooms and fine furniture. This enabled us to buy new woodworking machinery and helped kick-start our careers. Since then we haven't looked back!
