What we do
Longleaf Garden Rooms is a small family run business dedicated to building creative office and garden rooms made bespoke to want you require. Founded in 2018 and based on the borders of Hertfordshire & Essex we are here to help you create your perfect garden room.

We will always build your cabin on site so you will see the progress right in front of your eyes.
We also only work on one cabin at a time to ensure the work is completed in a good time frame.
SERVICES
WE START WITH A SKETCH
Give us a call or send us an email to discuss what you need. We can then draw up your ideas as a sketch and talk about designs, colours & your requirements.
FOUNDATIONS
For the foundations we use a unique ground-screw system, enabling us to fully insulate the floor joists which allows air to flow beneath the garden room which in turn stops rot and mould from occurring.
THE TIMBER FRAME
Every construction will be unique to the size you need. We use 4"x 2" timbers for the walls whereas other companies will generally use 2"x 2" or 3"x 2". This enables us to fully insulate the cavity and therefore raise the U-Value, keeping the garden room warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The external walls are cladded using recycled composite cladding which is totally maintenance free.. It also comes in 8 colours to choose from.
MODERN DESIGNS
We create our Garden Rooms using traditional timber or modern recycled materials.
At Longleaf we only use the highest quality sustainable materials to meet the strictest code requirements.
